Let’s get this party started!

I thought I’d kick the week off by sharing some of my new favorite fabric, Washi!

I’ve put together a fat quarter bundle of 8 different prints from my stash.   I am absolutely smitten with this fabric!  It’s so modern and bright.   I hope you like it too!

    I’d love to win those fabrics because aside from the natural way they blend together, they include gray. I have started collecting a few gray pieces lately because it is a color that is completely out of my comfort zone, but I really like some of the modern quilts I see online these days. So, I would make a fantastic quilt out of these gorgeous fabrics!

  49. I have been admiring this line! I love all the bright colours with the grey mixed in. It’s so cool!
    I would plan to make a quilt. Add in some coordinating solids & it would be perfect. I’ve promised a twin sized quilt to my 10 yr old niece & I have a feeling this is a colour palette she would love. In which case, I would be buying more fabric! 🙂

  62. Hi Linsey! I think this collection would be sooo cute and whimsical as a pinwheel quilt top for a teen! I have two teen daughters and they would love that as a fun throw for their room! I would add funky ribbons to it somewhere because the fabric lends to some thing like that!

The first thing I would do is take it to work with me so I could stare and pet it every so often until I finally decide to cut up the triangle print to make a pleated clutch and use another print (the tape?) for a wallet. The the remaining will be used as future collars, plackets, pockets, contrasting hems for clothing for myself or my nieces. Delightful!
