Starting on December 1, 2009, the FTC required that bloggers fully disclose if we’re making money from mentions of products on our sites and when we receive freebies for review.

• I get paid a small percentage if you purchase something through the Keyka Lou links on my site as an affiliate, but I do not receive free patterns from her.  If I’ve made one of her patterns, I paid for it myself.
• I’d never review a freebie without mentioning that the company sent me a sample. Any time I do review freebies, I promise that my opinion of that product is completely my own.
• If I mention a fabric store or product, that will almost always just be my own sharing of favorite shops and tools.   If they are a sponsor or if I was given something to sample, I will always share that.
